I guess I should participate in my own poll. I actually feed frozen mysid, cyclopeeze, nori, pellets, and flake (not all at once). But since I'm trying to figure out what the best flake to use is when I do feed flake I'll not dwell on those. I voted for Ocean Nutrition Formula One. Some time back I found this nutritional information chart on fish food Marine Fish Food Comparison Table - Saltwater Aquariums Guides' Extra and between this resource and chatting with one of the LFS guys I decided to go with it. After many months of occasionally using it in all my tanks it's time to buy another container so I figured I'd make a more informed decision with this poll. Hopefully we can get a little more data, it's not too conclusive at this point.

dayum,,,,what dont i feed the tank? i use nutra-fin flakes, cyclopeeze- no the flakes suck- frozen, plankton, krill, squid guts ( when i clean squidheads and tenticles for Z, everyone gets the guts and loves them), nori (yeah, its a flake~)

and i think i fed the neighbors cat to the fish~

I dont feed flakes. I use Frozen and Nori.
Heres my list.
Mysis. krill, table shrimp, silversides, sea veggies, other frozen stuff with ceggies for my tangs.
I think of flakes as freshwater food, but thats just me.

the reason i feed flakes, is,,,,everyone loves them from tusk to tang

chromis thrive on it (gotta have dither fish)

my multibar angel loves them (supposedly hard to keep fish)

every one eats everything else....but i feed it,,,they like it, so dont F* with it~

I feed Rods food in the evening & normally new life spectrum pellets early & sometimes Cyclopeeze flakes. Nori every 2-3 days

In nature, there are no flakes. Hey .... they are to a large extent from fish waste and dye.

I feed mysis and un toasted nori. Thats about it. I am a slacker when it comes to feeding wanting to keep the bio down but i do chop up a squid for the clowns once and a while. Believe it or not all my fish rather eat the nori. The gobys and clowns can't get enough of it and fight with the tang's in tug of war all the time.

I believe you 100% Frankie. My Trigger, Damsels and Clarkiis also eat Nori and Wakame algae .... them eat even salad, dandelion and spinach (mmmh if I no longer have Wakame grrrrrrr)

I feed living Artemia, copepods, zooplankton and rarely sweetwater shrimp. Frozen mysis and sand-shrimps, krill, pieces of Shellfish and fish. Nori and wakame, salat, dandelion and spinache.

Dandelion huh? never thought of feeding that to my fish. Is it wild picked or do you grow it?

The dandelion grows in my garden. I use only dandelion from an area where no FERTILIZERS used. My Doc's are still mad. Here you can see it....
