| Tridacna maxima | Re: Milwalkee vs Pinpoint PH Probes i use pin point, never tried milwalkee. but from what i understand the pin point hobby grade probe compared to miwalkee is like comparing the pin point hobby grade to pin point lab grade. dont think its quite like that but it is what i hear anyway.

| Reef Sanctuary's Mr. Wizard ![]() | Re: Milwalkee vs Pinpoint PH Probes I only used Sensorex, HACH or Bradley James. The better ones are like $250. You can get Senorex or Bradley James for $100 or relabeled ones from Cole-Pamer. Cole-Pamer has many, many probes to choose from There is nothing wrong with the PinPoint probe and they may even be made by Senorex or Bradley James. Many probes in this hobby are Sensorex or Bradley James relabeled. We do not need to spend anymore than $100 for a probe in this hobby.

| Acropora | Re: Milwalkee vs Pinpoint PH Probes I have a milllwakee handheld model 52. I really can't say how good it is I really don't have anything to compare it with. It takes a miniute or to to settle but otherwise the read out is easily seen. Last edited by cracker : 10-25-2007 at 07:40 PM. |

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: Milwalkee vs Pinpoint PH Probes I use a probe in both my reef and QT. My main display is controlled by a Neptune AquaController III and my hospital/QT uses a Pinpoint PH monitor (soon to be replaced with a new Reefkeeper2 controller).
