Re: Do you sleep with the fishes?

Mine is in my family room. You can also see it from the living room and even from the front windows. I love coming home and seeing the reef before I even get in the door.

Re: Do you sleep with the fishes?

I live in an apartment complex, and when I have the halides on when it is dark outside, my apartment glows. I wonder what the neighbors think about that one. I'm probably the "alien next door"...

In my defense , my hearing is damaged from 22 years of construction and extraneous noise wipes out my hearing. i.e. can't hear tv, talking, etc.

Re: Do you sleep with the fishes?

I have one tank in the Kitchen, one in the bedroom, one in the dining area, two in the living room and one by the computer, having said that only one tank in the living room is a reef tank the rest are freshwater. I have way too many tanks and am in the process of removing three of them!

I know what you mean. My house is this funky build from the seventies with a staircase right at the front door that separates the living room from the dining room. Then the second floor is half the size of the first floor, and there's another level above that that's half the size with half size stairs on top of a built in bookcase. I really wonder what the architects were smoking...

There's a hole under the stairs that I guess I could put an aquarium in, but I think the only one it would entertain would be my roommate's cat.

Re: Do you sleep with the fishes?

75g FOWLR in the kitchen, 120 mixed reef in living room, 10 gallon nano nightmare in the bedroom.

I want to tear down the 75g and the 10 g but my girl throws a fit saying i made a commitment to the animals and have to keep everything!!

She and the V. Lion have quite the friendship
