Re: nanocube, biocube or aquapod

price really isnt a problem with these 3 that i picked...the only reason i want a small tank is cuz i dont have room for a big tank and im going to be putting this one in my room...ill prolly just be putting a couple small corals like some zoas or mushrooms

then I would go with the biocube just for the extra water volume

The brand new RedSea cube is amazing. its twice as much but comes with absolutely everything needed. Skimmer, heater, pump, filter all built in with lights and timers and everything u can imagine !!!!!

Re: nanocube, biocube or aquapod

even though the aquapod has optional halides, oceanic has a better filter, more room for a skimmer, and with a small tank, 2 gallons is a lot

You can also remove the stock hood on the bio-cube and replace it with the sunpod (or other) MH fixture. That's what I did on my 29. Also, BrothaWolf and some others have done some other lighting upgrades...

Re: nanocube, biocube or aquapod

Re: nanocube, biocube or aquapod

i think the better of the 3 is the aquapod just because of the lighting it comes with. 12G with 70W MH or the 24G with 150W MH. im planning on getting the AP24 and i think its worth the money, IMO
