Question Cleaning Sumps/Overflows...

How often do you vacuum/clean your sump and/or overflow?

I am constantly amazed at the amount of muck that settles in these two places... I clean both of mine every other water change.

Re: Cleaning Sumps/Overflows...

I've never cleaned mine
I use a filter sock...so no accumulation on the sump and AFA the overflow got plenty of fauna in there, I just call it my mini-refugium they do all the cleaning...lol

I've used the Python water changers for well over 15 years. No more lugging buckets of water in either direction...
