Re: New Computer for B-Day

I don't see what the big fuss is about a console game anyway... once you've tasted the PC gaming played on the internet with a fun loving group of adults, you'll never go to a console again... atleast I won't. I'd much rather have a screaming machine like Ken's!

Re: New Computer for B-Day

The ONLY reason I will get Xbox is simply for the EA sports games. Nothing like playing NCAA football or basball on xbox live. Plus me and my roomate like to start dynasties against each other on xbox.
When it comes to rpg or FPS games I prefer the computer, but for some reason I really enjoy playing my sports games on the big screen against my buds.
EA sports has taken quite a bit of my cash, and I don't regret any of it

Oh yeah, I have to give the nod to consoles for driving/racing games. Loved the gran tourismo series on PS/ps2, and Forza is a blast (although I can't hang with the a lot of the guys online).

Re: New Computer for B-Day

The NFS series on the the computer is great. I just like it on the console better for some reason.
I'd be suprised if any other car game pulls me from Forza motorsports withing the next year though. Incredible game.

Re: New Computer for B-Day

Dave that sounds like excellent CS. I wonder why they don't ship us all avid gaerms one, they would conquere the market, and make their money on the games!!!

I just got Call Of Duty 2 last night, I must say it is pretty good. I have not played any of the WWII shooters, and this one seems to be well balanced in regular mode. I set up my Nostromo game pad, and went in shooting..... and dying... a little rusty on the controll pad.... Gotta watch out for those grenades. I made it throgh the first couple of missions... I am gonna try a little deathmatch with the son today... I hate to have to kill the little nerd on thanksgiving....

P.S i'm gonna kick his behind, son person.
