Debt consolidation Companies

I am at wits end. Due two a slow economy my business is slow at times and I have fallen behind in some of my bills. I really don’t want to file bankruptcy. Have any of you fellow reefers used a Non profit Debt consolidation company, if so which one? Did you have any bad luck with them? Will they do any harm to your credit? Any info you might have will help out a lot.

I have a friend that used this one, I have also used it when my son was in the Hospital.
All I can say is check them out and see what you think for yourself.

dahlfan, Yes I think that overall, it was a good experience. They really helped us out in our situation. Although, remember every situation is different.
Here is another debt management company that has really high reviews with others that are in my area. I have never used them, but friends have and recomend them highly.
