Good Morning Everyone!

It is +28 degrees outside right now in Montana where I live and suppose to get snow off and on all weekend.

We got all our Christmas shopping done yesterday so that is a relief~ Went to the LFS and I got a Wrasse and can't find a pic of it anywhere so hopefully will be able to get a pic up to show ya!

Wifey got a pair of tank raised percs clowns for her tank. She is thrilled beyond words!

May go back to the LFS today and do some more looking. Darn green stuff in my wallet is wanting to jump out!

Good Morning everyone! It's 24F as of a few minutes ago....I have no idea what weather is in store for us this weekend. I get to play Santa today (not literally).....the best part of the holiday! We are trying to decide what the holiday plans will entail for us....quite difficult when both families are in different states, none of which is Indiana....and we are being pulled in a million directions. Holiday stress? What's that? LOL!!

Good Morning! It is 28 degrees here. Going out to finish christmas shopping and finally get our tree. It is supposed to start snowing here sometime today. It will be a wintery mess according to the news.

Hey NaH20, I am orginally from Greenwood Indiana. Moved to Maryland in 1988. We plan on heading to Indiana Christmas morning. Don't you just love the nicknames people from Indy have such as corn husker, Hoosier as is who's your moma, who's your daddy? Oh well, once a hoosier always a hoosier and proud of it may I say?

Hey Gina was checking out your home town of Greenwood, Indiana and had these high points:

Greenwood is a City in the center of Indiana, Just south of the Capital of Indiana, Indianapolis. Greenwood offers a small town friendliness, as well as large city convenience.
A retail community, Our city contains one of Indianapolis's Largest suburban malls, and two large retail corridors. Greenwood has convenient access to Interstate 65 which runs along the east side of the city making it easy to get to from Indianapolis.
Greenwood has a strong local economy, great city services, friendly people, great schools, and a secure atmosphere.

I also come from a very small town in Vermont called Malletts Bay.
Really enjoyed growing up in a small town and always knew the short cuts and places to go in our little community. It is not so little anymore unfortunately but still hope to retire back there in less than five years!

When I was born (1956) Greenwood had a population of only 5000 people. There was no mall. People were much friendlier then and everyone knew everyone. Alot has changed since I moved in 88. I hardly recognize the place now. Most of the farm land is now shopping strips and apartments or houses.

I am glad I at least still have the memories of what it once was.

Good morning Sanctuarians! It's in the upper 40's here in Mahvelous Modesto, and a high wind advisory today, and rain scheduled for tonite & the next several days. oh joy.
Got a load of "fresh from the ocean" totally uncured Marshall Island rock coming in this evening! Can't wait. WOW, is my garage gonna STINK for a couple of weeks! The local reef club put together a group buy, and we got it for a good price. Got lots to do today to get ready for that. Do a few Christmas decorations outside and that's done.
I'll tell ya, I could get used to this sleeping in stuff. I've gotten up at 0230 for so long, that anything past 0500 really seems like luxury. (or LAZY!!)

I'm a Chicago transplant, so I don't (and probably won't....well maybe one day?) consider myself a "Hoosier". That's the funny thing about being from Chicago....take a look at where HAP is from, as an example. Our hearts are always there, no matter where else we live. I've only been down to Greenwood a few times, but I know that it has grown tremendously in the past few years. BTW - Welcome to Reef Sanctuary!!
