OT: Tooting my own horn a bit

Many of you have become friends over the past couple of years and have showed interest in my desire to become a veterinarian. Well, after being out of town for a few days, I came home to a big white envelope stating that I gained acceptance to NCSU college of veterinary medicine!!!! Good news for myself (and for the tank, I don't have to move it).

It goes to show that persistence pays off! Off to enjoy it a bit, but thought some might be interested.

Congratulations Scott! I'm so happy for you!
Good to hear also that you can keep your tank going!
You should be proud of yourself and the path you have choosen!

Congrats! I went to UC Davis for undergrad, where they have a fairly large vet school. Seems like half the student body (including most of my girlfriends) went there for undergrad to try to get into the vet school. When they found out that it was easier to get into medical school, I think that most of them quit. You obviously have most of them beat.
