i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

I have several orca tattoos and they are by far my favorite animal, but that is too close for comfort.
I remember in Orlando some fool decided to hide in the park and when it closed, he wanted to 'swim with Shamu'. Instead, he ended up in a bull's tank. Long story short, the several ton behemoth used him as a play thing, to his demise. My guess here is that this orca 'just wanted to play'. Wow...

Sicilia my favorite Simon and Garfunkle tune. Cute pic

That video is awesome but is that real? If so I would never step 1 toe into the ocean if that were me in that kayak. Awesome creature but I can't watch the video as they drown the baby blue whale and then only eat the tongue. (Blue Planet Video)
To sad for me.

Thanks for the link that is one scary day at sea

ROFLMAO!! From what little I can hear of the voices, it sounded like Japanese, and considering the Japanese treatment of whales worldwide, it may have been just a bit of payback!! Otherwise, those big mammals are nothing to mess with. I've seen them swamp a few boats in Puget Sound over the years when they get too close.
