Sorry all for this long post, some would say I have a Dark Gift.
I started this and there was only one page of posts, dang, these fat fingers just cant type fast enough. Here goes:

Trekkie vs Reefer From the Announcer's view.

Tale of the Tape:
Reefer
Height: Varies
Weight: Varies
Reach: Long for scraping of deep tank walls
Clothing: Jeans and a T-shirt (IMHO, common reefer clothing for working on their tank)

Trekkie
Height: Varies
Weight: Varies
Reach: Holding the Remote Control, can utilize thumb for elevating the volume if needed.
Clothing: Black Pants, Red Trekkie Shirt, Rubber pointy ears

Round 1
Ding Ding
(Announcer’s Voice)
With bulging muscles from tank cleaning, Reefer moves forward to get a good strike on Trekkie.
Trekkie pulls an item out of his pocket and points it at Reefer…..The thing looks to be some kind of gun. Trekkie pulls the trigger….Nothing happens…….Trekkie turns a dial on the gun, points it and pulls the trigger….Nothing…..Trekkie is looking confused…….turns the dial again, points and pulls the trigger….Nothing…A frightened look comes over Trekkie

Meanwhile, Reefer begins a stalking motion resembling the Scorpion fish. Smiling and squeezing his fists, not so scarred (from small fish bites), he cracks them with what sounds like that of a Mantis shrimp popping a snail shell.

Trekkie reaches for a small box thing on his belt, flips open the top and mumbles something into the box…….Nothing……..Trekkie turns a dial on the box and mumbles again….Nothing.

Reefer reaches into his pocket, pulls something out and throws it at Trekkie. ITS SAND! Reefer has thrown sand in Trekkie’s face. Things are moving around on his face….Its LIVE SAND!!!!!.... Trekkie screams at small worms at unseen things. Trekkie’s rubber ears fall off.

Ding Ding..

Both go to their prospective corners.
Fake Spock and Fake James Tiberius Kirk are working hard on Trekkie’s face and talk about things logical and illogical.
Reefer’s trainers, Travis and Witfull talk to the reefer about bare bottoms and proper water parameters.

Round 2
Ding Ding

Both Combatants stand up and begin to circle the ring sizing each other up. Trekkie with small sand particles on his face looks confused…….I bet he doesn’t understand why his gun and flip top box didn’t work….They aren’t real, you knucklehead!!!.....Sorry about that folks, sometimes you just got to tell a combatant what you think.

Reefer pulls off his shirt. Hey, wait….are those small sharp bones protruding from the reefers hips…..Looks like he has had that specialized surgeon fish surgery…….Hope Trekkie knows to stay away from those, they can be deadly.

Trekkie steps close to Reefer and grabs his trapezious muscle, nice use of the Vulcan sleeping grip, Reefer laughs and turns his hips into Trekkie and slices his shirt open. Trekkie steps back to observe the damage done.

Trekkie steps back into Reefer and puts his hands on Reefers face, thumb by the nose..fingers wrapped around Reefer’s eye and begins to mumble something….Wait, I think I can hear what he is saying……….”our minds are one…..your mind, my mind, one” What kind of garbage is that? Reefer again turns his hip into Trekkie with a nice surgeon’s move. Man, Trekkie is really out of his league on this one. Another slice on the shirt……

Ding Ding……

Both men go to their corners.
Spock and Kirk have disappeared……looks like Mr. Red Shirt is left alone….just like all of the landing parties.

Witfull and Travis begin a dissertation on proper daily, weekly, monthly tank matenance and lighting.

Ding Ding….

Sorry Witfull and Travis’ discertation will have to wait for the next round to finish work on the Reefer.

Round 3

Reefer and Trekkie stand up and begin to circle. Reefer goes to his corner and reaches into the fishtank, man that light is bright…….Wait, he’s pulling a rock out of the tank…..its got what looks like small flowers on it…...lots of colors…….
Reefer steps up to trekkie and hits him in the stomach with the flowered rock…..the flowers have split and squashed all over Trekkie, Trekkie has flower juice all over his open wounds from the surgeon strikes………Reefer steps back and begins to observe the damage…..Must have been zoos…

Trekkie doesn’t look good… his stomach at the smash zoo are is red and puffy……..his eyes are getting red, he’s falling to his knees…….. Face down……..REEFER Is the winner!!!!!

Well, that just goes to show you, never wear a red shirt to a landing party………

Your right, I do have way too much time on my hands. Please don't tell my boss. He might give me more work to do. I would have gone to more rounds, but I had to get some work done. I need to keep working to continue to finance my money pit, wait, my fishtank.

My girlfriend saw me laughing while reading this thread, and I told her that I started the thread, and then she looked at me pitifully and asked if I thought that this made me more geekier than I already am. LOL!!!

Gumby: They are so consumed in their world that they may not know what a reefer is. They probably don't have reefs in the future. I would be interested to see what they post in response to your fight!

Jango: LOL!

Not saying that I'm a trekkie (because I truly believe that I am not, but I could probably hold my own in basic Trek trivia), Piccard did have a porthole fishtank in his Captains Room on a wall , but I don't remeber what was in it.

Maybe I should go onto their forum and ask. Maybe they atleast have reef tanks.

Gumby: You're right. Picard did have a tank in his wall. I thought it was goldfish in there. I don't remember though. You're better off asking on the trekkie forum.

ctiq21: You must have been one of the ones that voted for trekkies.
