Like to say thanks to everyone here at RS

I know I only been a member since august 2009. I just like to say thanks to everyone that had responded to my questions during august and september and questions i had ask off and on during this month(october).

All I can say everyone rocks on RS. I know during the month of August when I first joined RS, I had vistited other forums, but RS feels to be the forum I want to be very active on for some reason, and it kinda shows with a little bit over 270 post I made since I joined.

Even though I don't have a reef tank, because it's a extremely slow build because of my budget. Originally it was looking like this first reef tank wouldn't be up and running until about 2012, but the way things look I'm kinda pushing it up to have a reef up and running even if it's cycling the tank by then end of december 2010.

So if you see me post in the Equipment/DIY forum asking a question about something, it's because this would be the only way I can meet this deadline for december 31, 2010.

Once I do get my first reef up it would look bare even though I have corals and inverts in it, it would be because for corals, I'll have to go with frags mostly. I will edit my signature as time goes by when it calls for something to be changed

it might take me couple of years before this one is up and running.
(hope it will take less than 2 years to get everything. I'm actually shooting before january 2011. )

What are friends for! I look forward to seeing your build progress. Slow and steady wins the race, and you will undoubtedly be rewarded in the long run for your patience

thanxs chipmunk. going slow pace even slower than a snail pace wasn' t the plan but because of my fixed monthly income I can only do so much each month and that it dictates the pace of this build. I do know if I don't get the system started cycling by the end of 2010 like I want then I would have more of an idea how long it will take depending on what I still need to get.

The biggest hurdle that's going to be rough is getting the most expensive piece of equipment for this tank, and that's the T5 lights I want to use, and not talking about brand but generally a 8x54w fixture.
