Banner got Deleted!

Hi All!

Well I put Reef Sanctuary banner in my signature on another forum and got a PM from a moderator and said I could not link to another site and that it was against the rules and I should know better!

Well this moderator has a banner in his signature that goes to a small board but that seems to be ok!

Now who knows the rules and who doesn't!! Said I was using it for recruiting purposes and it wasn't going to fly!!

I am at the point that I am going to tell them where to fly!!

i just checked mine, no pms and my banners havent been administratively removed. but then again i put them there to be a PITA.....lol

Well after a couple of PM's to the mod who deleted the banner his banner has been deleted as well as he did not realize his banner was a hot link! So everything is cool!

UGH! My banner link was now made into a link to the picture of the banner!!

I fixed it by just typing out the link, as they didn't change my links for FRAG or Aquarium Advice....

Anyone that has any type of banner needs to change it to a typed link because as they are now...it leads you to a picture of your banner.

[edit: fyi, I received no PMs about it either]

The board whom must not be named...that starts with an "R", and has an "A", and a "G"

Yup, Maxx, at THAT site the banner was deleted but not the hot link to the site or the banner. You can click on either and it takes you there. No PM was sent to inform.

Craig, I noticed they did the same to your 3reef banner as well.

Policy is their prerogative, I'm just glad they're being consistent.

In all fairness, there may have been too many of us to PM.
