While I support PBS if you watched it this weekend you may have caught the LIVE Greatful Dead show. “The closing of Winterland”. Awesome show and amazing video of a fading past.
I have been ordering from overstock.com lately for many things.

You can only get the video from PBS for $120.

I can't believe I missed it...

Thanks for the ordering info, I might have to hint to someone about an Xmas present.

FWIW, 1978 is one of my favorite years and this is one of my favorite shows all time. I can't wait to actually SEE it...

I love PBS/NPR and I donate when I can, but I don't think I can dish out $120 for a couple of DVDs that I can get for $20

No the 20 is for 2 music CD's and the 120 is for over 4 hours of DVD video of the live concert! Plus extras

I ordered both

On that same note, have you (scott) noticed that Etree hasthe latest (as in a few days ago) tour of phish for Bit-Torrent D/L already?
I can get a link when I get home if ya want it

The dead show sounds awesome, wish I would have known earlier! I've put the dead on my "past" collection list, only listening instead of collecting now. Do you have a Etree listing Scott?
Mine's : db.etree.org/jjohnson20 if you want to look it over, but I haven't actively updated in the past few months. Still, I'd be more than willing to run some BnP's for folks as well.

I am listening to Nassau as we speak, also have Philly on the HD. Man, those torrents were up quickly...

I watched it last Saturday on PBS, great show! I must say Jerry looked petty high LOL. I just might have to get the DVD. I have GD "ticket to new years" (1987) on DVD and I break it out now and then to bring me back to "them days".

Just had to let everyone know that I just bought the DVD tonight with a litle Xmas cash (on sale for $20!!!) along with the new Zappa DVD that is out.

Well, at least I know what I am doing tonight. We will just see how long the girlfriend can stand it...
