OT: Bout me... - Page 11

Still aggressively doing NOTHING! I'm getting the yard watered on a regular basis and spend the time siting in my lawn chair doing exercises my buddy Craig taught me. Heck I may turn this "Keg" of a tummy into a 6-pack yet

Just wanted to let everyone know that your thoughts and prayers WORK! Over the last two days I have had NO pain what so ever and taken NO pain meds since Saturday. Not even ibuprofen. That's GOT to be a good sign.

Even though I'm feeling great I'm on the Aggressively Doing Nothing Duty in order to allow this thing to heal. Julie and I took an AMAZING walk this evening (once it cooled down) and it was great. We live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet and as we were walking down Main-street Waynesville the Moon (almost FULL) popped up over the mountain peeks. We just stood there admiring it and thanking the Heavens above for all of our many blessing.

Thank you EVERYONE!!

Thanks Kathy! Apparently the "Feeding Pattern" of our deer have changed. There are loads of "crops & gardens" around here so they aren't traveling the same route right now. It's been several weeks since we've seen them last. What we DO have now are two FAT groundhogs and one baby living in our neighbors yard and one VERY fat one living under our storage building. So funny to watch.

I can't update because I'm too busy doing NOTHING!

Honestly my back is doing VERY well! Riding that long did hurt a small amount but nothing bad. I'd say on a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being worst) my pain is about a .25 (that's POINT 25). Life is GOOD!

Glad to hear you are doing so well and the drive didn't aggrivate it much at all. Driving for more than an hour is one of the worst things for my back.

All is GOOD! I've been taking it VERY easy and I feel GREAT! Trying to be "Smart" and just because I FEEL good not do something stupid and hurt myself!!

Al, i dont remember if i posted to this yet....so,,,,a few yrs ago i had to have surgery for disk rebuilds of the L4/L5 and L5/S1. i also had spinal cord abraision with cord leakage.

Moral to this story- take care of your back!

Welp time for an update... been doing REALLY good... but... yeah there's a BUT!!

a couple weeks ago started having some slight pains again... called Dr and he wants to do another nerve block to inject more steroids before it swells as much as before.. so sometime tomorrow I go back for the CT Scan and another nerve block.... oh well....
