Im really confused on this thread. And will only reply once and remove the tag to follow along. As I look in all of your past post you have been one to be in a few OT conversations quite willing. One being the coffee thread... ???? Now im confused.

RS is a family forum. We help,listen and converse with all members that need it. OT or SW.... Get use to it...

Also your signature isnt all about Sw things,, Maybe we should address that.

Granted, the majority of the community there isn't that way at all. Reef Sanctuary was started by a bunch of people who disliked the way things were going at a different site, one that wasn't particularly friendly, where the owner of the site only cared about making money, not friends.
Maybe that's ok, but many of us didn't think so, and here we are.

NO flaming is permitted by anyone for any reason.

I get chastized occasionally because I'm pretty blunt when I explain things, but I do NOT flame anyone, nor would I tolerate any flames in any thread.

Sanctuary has many meanings, but here, it takes the meaning of safety or refuge & protection.
People who post here are safe from flaming and/or harrassment for asking the most basic of questions...the kind some sites get all pissy about and call them "Dumb questions," when in reality, the only dumb questions are the ones not asked.

I'm sorry you're not happy with the "family atmosphere" here in the community we have.
That being said, in spite of the ISPY feature here, WHY would you hang out in a user forum that you don't like? By all means, if we don't meet your standards, feel free to leave.

Boomer said everything that needed to be said. We are more like a family here, if one of us needs help with something in our daily life, then we all help them, Whenever I have a question regarding my tank (often) my issues are addressed and within minutes I have answers. I do not understand why you are here ranting, calling out all of the flaws you do not like. If you are against it that much, stop coming back.

Nothing wrong with them Kathy. Just not my cup of tea. The biggest problem i have with them is that newbies tend to start off with them theses days. A nano is a terrible way to learn how to keep a reef. Or let me rephrase that, a very difficult way. It's like taking your first road test in a 18 wheeler.

I could not agree with this more Jojo... I think the mods need to put down the law, and use the ban button. I enjoy RS, and consider it family as well. A year or so ago, I had a 29g tank, with problems... And no one on RC would take anough time out of their day to answer my questions about my problems with it. I found this site, and honestly, was about ready to drain my tak and forget about it.. Now, I have a 125g super system.. 300g total volume,.. perfect water, and perfect system if I may say so. If I stayed on RC, I would have no tank... and not have the knowledge I have now..RS is the SOLE reason I am still in this hobby. So, May I join in with the others, in saying - IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Oh yeah,... I knew my caps lock was on! I HOPE the mods ban you, as we don't need your kind here. I find it sad that you have no compassion for someone getting their dog stolen, and honestly, that could be considered a personal attack,.. in which this topic could, and should be closed. Maybe this will get it closed for ya.. I'm sorry guys,.. I have to say it,.. even though it IS a personal attack...rbursek, Get a spell checker buddy! Nanos make great little tanks. Especially for those people that don't want to dish out a lot of money needed to start a larger reef. I plan on turning my 2.5 gal pico into a small reef eventually.
