OT: What did you do today? - Page 3

it was "one of those days" after leaving the nice secure sanctuary I drove to a job site and stood in the rain doing both design and engineering issuing decrees and demands,went to the shop a pulled about 40 scrolls (this will hurt tomorrow) told lies to at least three people, came home had dinner grabbed a blankie and curled up in RS, ahhh no place like home

I got up and worked with only one cup of coffee. Took the kid to school. Came home and worked. Picked the kid up from school. Came home and worked. Brought the cat to the vet for some xrays and giardia testing. Came home and worked. Now I have to go pick the cat up and bring the kid to the doc. And then I'll have some coffee and come home to do some more work.

I slept until 3:00 this afternoon.. Got up, did a little tank maintenance, took my daughter and her friend to ice skating lessons.. then back home.. now i'm on the PC waiting for my dinner to arrive.. then I have to go to work... get off work at 6:30am, and get to try to sleep.. lol..

Sat around being completely drained of energy. Watched the boys ...ehem...RS Reef Studs go back and forth about snow in the weather thread while the dust blew all over this joint. Daydreamed about being somewhere else. Watched way too much CNN. Talked to thelastmucci on the phone. Cooked supper. Enjoyed the look of horror on my 4yr old's face while he was watching Alien for the first time. Now I am thinking about laying down in bed and watching some nonsensical tv.

Hey I daydream I am elsewhere daily.
Supposedly I was supposed to "start some crap" today. But I woke up, felt rather mellow and that interfered with my usual idea of fun. I just couldn't bring myself to being myself. Not a bad day, just a bit out of the norm...and that is starting to get me going. Some chump caught a break today. I am going to have to rectify that.

Sounds like someone replaced your coffee with decaf. I have an excuse -- I did the breast cancer walk and schlepped all over god's earth this past week and a half. I still feel the need to bond with my couch.

I know you need me to be on my game, Stace. I will put an extra scoop of grounds into the maker tomorrow.

And maybe sprinkle some grounds on your cereal or something. I was hoping to hear about the pot getting stirred.

I have been in the hurt box too with lack of energy/sleep with work, maybe I'll take my own advice... chocolate covered espresso beans instead of trail mix in the morning can't be bad, right?

I heard if you put coffee beans in your ears and up your nose it really give you a jolt!

Oh yeah, I actually took a nap after getting beat up with calls at night/early morning. Then off to some thrift stores today to do some treasure hunting.
