| Bryozoan | Lucky frikin' kid! Man, some 18 yr old from around here won a custom corvette used in the new Speed Racer movie. Won it off MTV. They brought it by my store to do the interview with the local news. Its a C5 with an early 60's stingray body kit. He is gonna sell it. As much as I believe a car should be driven not just shown, I can't blame him. The car was used in non moving shots in the movie. They had the documents of when and where the car shows up in the movie. I guess that makes it a show piece that should stay that way. Anyway, he can't drive it cause he does not know how to drive a stick. Why not me, I would melt the tires off it atleast once before selling it. |

| Limpet | Re: Lucky frikin' kid! Wow, it takes all of 30 seconds to learn how to drive stick. Another week or two to perfect it. What a moron. Yes, I learned how to drive a stick in a firebird, in 30 seconds. And it became my first car. I was a "pro" within a week.
