I don't know if my husband has a fun bone in his body, but I keep him around to keep me well grounded, otherwise I can get into too much trouble!

I don't know if our scanner still works, there weren't any digital cameras around when we got married either, let alone when we met

Met 1988, halloween dance. Me and my friend were "cats," Mike and his brother were the Blues Brothers. Went out for a month, I dumped him over the phone.

Fast forward a year later, I knew Mike a little better, started dating again right before Christmas. He'd gotten a car but that ws not the reason I went out with him again, contrary to popular opnion. Had our rough patches, especially when we both went away to college.

Got married 1994 after dating and living together, it actually wasn't all that different except there weren't any more roomates to contend with anymore, just us.

He worked at a beer distributor managing, I went to school and had a few newspaper jobs, then mike joined the Coast Guard, um... 12 years ago. I can't do he math right nwo I'm too tired. After 8 or 9 years he got picked up for OCS (Officer something school) and started making more $, so we decided OK, a kid might not be such a bad thing. So we had some fun

, we moved to the DC area for his first officer job and I decided I should try to get another career type job sand said OK, lets stop not-trying-but-not-not-trying and I'll just work for a while and we can think about it again... too late!!!! Erin was born in 2004. And that's a whole nother story.

So here we are at um, 14 years of marriage and 20 years... wait, no, I dumped him... 19 years together.

WOW - the stories and pics are terrific!! I will have to hunt down some pics!
Terry and I met online, our first date was I think 4 days later on Friday Sept. 29th, 2000! We went out to dinner and the rest is history as they say - he proposed 9 days later and my son and I moved in with Terry 1 month later. We were married on Feb 10, 2001! Jessi, our daughter, was born Dec. 12th, 2001 and so we have the Yours, Mine and Ours scenario going on here! Josh, (Terry's son) is 17, Matt (my son) is 15 and Jessi! I will find the wedding album and get a pic out here as soon as I am able to!!
