| Madame Klanganator | Re: O.T.: Anniversary Thread I loce your story, Lynn! Nikki, I found some pictures, however, I have to learn how to scan them then upload, so there will be a slight learning curve. I also have to go to my bil's house for MD dinner at 2. I'll post them here as soon as I am able. Now I have to cut up 4qts of berries to take along to dinner.

| Madame Klanganator | Re: O.T.: Anniversary Thread Well, that's true, but John is the only 'boy' here and he ain't touchin' no strawberries, thank you very much! He is not a fruit person so it's my job for sure. I have a french silk pie for him for dessert. I don't mind cutting up berries. I get into a nice cutting rhythm. I feel all empty and relaxed.

| Madame Klanganator | Re: O.T.: Anniversary Thread Okay, Nikki! Let's see how these old photos show up here. I had no idea about sizing, but it looks as though I didn't do too badly! First; the wedding ![]() Me, pre-ceremony ![]() The popular and traditional "Photo in a Brandy Snifter" requisite photo of the times. I just love John's mustache! ![]() Then, onto babies! Bryan and Chris.. about 8mos in the first two pictures, and Chris at the first birthday smashing his cake. When you told me about your plans for Olivia, and I found this picture I had to post it! Look at his face... such concentration on the icing shmooshing through his fingers! ![]() Andrea as a little munchkin.. she was full of the dickens, and it shows in her sparkly eyes in the first pictures. And in her Easter finery at about 6mos old. ![]()

| Golden Moray | Re: O.T.: Anniversary Thread BARB!!! Those pictures are amazing! You look so beautiful on your wedding day. The second picture of you smiling ear to ear is so sweet. Your babies are precious! The concentration on your boy's faces remind me SO much of Olivia. Only when she gets those looks I can usually expect an explosive poop coming really soon. JoJo: Your story sounds a lot like me and Tommy. In fact, you guys got married the day after we did. Your wedding picture is so pretty. I bet that sunset made for some beautiful photos.

| Manta Ray | Re: O.T.: Anniversary Thread OK, if I hear any giggling, I swear... This is my husband, Dale, and I in 2000, right before getting hitched. The scoop: I know my husband because I used to live with his girlfriend back in 1995. I couldn't really say that I liked him when I first met him. He only called when he was loaded and talked way too much! I lost track of him for a few years after my roommate and I parted ways. Somehow reconnected with him through email in 1998. Agreed to meet and catch up while he was on leave. Drank too much at some dive at Laclede's Landing in St. Louis, just enough drinking to get into my professor mode. We had a delightful conversation about Karl Marx, and if I recalled correctly gave him one of those drunken kisses which starts at one place and smears halfway across the face. I really need to stop drinking. Anyway he went back to wherever and I went back to wherever. Didn't get much out of it, except the realization that I must have been bored with the boyfriend I already had. Did I just hear a hiss? I already know I'm gutter trash, let's keep that crap to a minimum, please! Hooked up again for a friend's wedding in 1999. I was getting ready to start my graduate program. Told him I was ready to be in a relationship with someone who could not be around. I had no time to invest in someone who actually needed me to be attentive. I had too much on my plate at the time. So we hooked up. He went back to Germany; I went to school. Saw him for only a week between that time and 12 months later when we got married. He proposed to me over the phone while he was "manning the fort" in Kosovo. I said "Yeah, OK." He said he was serious. I said "Yeah, me too." That was that. We have been married 8 years this July. We have 2 kids. Lost my original wedding ring last year while in California. So I had to upgrade and we renewed our vows. Next time, I think we'll do it in Vegas! ![]() |

| Madame Klanganator | Re: O.T.: Anniversary Thread Becky, wonderful story and picture! Dale is a good-lookin' serious soldier type, and you have a VERY mischievious glint in your eye. I'm not very surprised by that, however! Thanks, you guys, for your nice words about my pictures! They are so old! I look so young, and thin! Time can be very cruel when you don't take good enough care of yourself... let that be a lesson to you young'uns. I loved seeing my little babies. Bryan and Chris are big ole hairy men now.. hard to believe they were a little bunny and puppy who squished cake and made very goofy faces. And Andrea... she's just about the age I was in my wedding pictures. AIEEE!

| Golden Moray | Re: O.T.: Anniversary Thread That's a good picture Becky! Barb is right...your hubby is the super serious soldier type and you look like you have some secret...you weren't wearing underwear, were you?! j/k Barb: I've seen pictures of Tommy and his brother when they were kids and it's hard for me to imagine them as small and hairless as they were when they were small. They're big, burly, furry men now. I LOCE it! lol
