OT: Early Mother's Day :)

Today I had a nice surprise from my son, Chris, who sent me flowers a bit early for Mother's Day.

Lovely roses! As most things that make me very happy do, I had a tear in my eye when I opened the box. I'm a soppy mom.

Thanks, guys! He is a wonderful person. And a very intelligent person too. We have the best conversations about the most random things. He lives right on the beach, too. I hafta go visit soon!

Barb - lovely flowers - Becky - that cake looks great, enjoy every bite - you deserve it!!
We sent Marks mom Pizza from her favorite place last night and had them deliver a pint of Haagen Daz - not very traditional, but being out of state, it was our way of taking her to dinner!! Had a BBQ here for my mom - smoked salmon and chocolate cake (which she took home!)...

Happy mothers day RS Moms....My mom has to spend mothers day resting with her arm up. We had an unfortunate boating accident yesterday. My wife and I are gonna go cook dinner for her.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
