OT:For the surfers

I know there are a few surfers on this forum. Just FYI I tried to take a flight out of Wilmington via Delta today and was denied access. Could not take my 1 board with me. With the NW Delta merger they were already charging me $150 per board so couldn't take my 4 boards.
But apparently Delta flights that use Comair or Atlantic Southeast Airline won't allow boards on the planes. Good way to f up my vacation.
As far as I'm concerned if they can transport Live rock and golf clubs for people they can take my surfboards

Sorry for the OT rant. Kind rough day when vacation gets ruined.

Unfortunately a folding board is something I probably would never use at the places I fly to for surfing. Maybe around here to screw around on smaller waist high waves.
Just means a lot of locations I'm going to be forced to purchase a board and the sell it before I leave or pray I can find a decent rental board.
