| They misunderestimated me ![]() | OT:For the surfers I know there are a few surfers on this forum. Just FYI I tried to take a flight out of Wilmington via Delta today and was denied access. Could not take my 1 board with me. With the NW Delta merger they were already charging me $150 per board so couldn't take my 4 boards. But apparently Delta flights that use Comair or Atlantic Southeast Airline won't allow boards on the planes. Good way to f up my vacation. As far as I'm concerned if they can transport Live rock and golf clubs for people they can take my surfboards ![]() Sorry for the OT rant. Kind rough day when vacation gets ruined.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. |

| They misunderestimated me ![]() | Re: OT:For the surfers Unfortunately a folding board is something I probably would never use at the places I fly to for surfing. Maybe around here to screw around on smaller waist high waves. Just means a lot of locations I'm going to be forced to purchase a board and the sell it before I leave or pray I can find a decent rental board.
