| Golden Moray | Re: OT: The future is bright! EMG...some fish are higher in mercury than others. Shark, swardfish, king macral and tilefish are the highest in mercury and if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure and eat more than 7 oz, you have a very high chance of getting mercury poisioning. Better fish that are high in Omega 3's are light canned tuna, shrimp, pollock, salmon, cod, catfish, clams, flounder or sole, crabs, scallops, halibut and herring with salmon, flounder, sole, halibut and herring being the highest in Omega 3's. Remember though that one serving size is only 3 oz. I also think that anything you do to keep yourself calm like meditation, reading or music (or reefing for some) adds to your life span. Stress, suprise, stresses you out...I can't think of a better way to get my first wrinkles.

| Golden Moray | Re: OT: The future is bright! I think that the planet can not sustain such an explosion of population as we have seen. We not only live longer, we keep the unhealthy alive. Without a proper population balance, we polute, strip and literally poison our environment. A balance in our personal lives I believe equates to longevity not only our own but for the planet we inhabit. Manipulation of genetics for anti aging, stem cell for regenitive medicine and bio mechanical devices from hearing aids, artifical joints to artifical hearts are quests of the intelect; a natural drive that human beings have to move forward. Is this good, I believe, will we have balance in these areas?, I believe not.

| Angel Girl's Daddy ![]() | Re: OT: The future is bright! I agree Kimmy, we need to kill off all the old and sick people so us young & healthy can better prosper. ![]() If we did that for a few generations using all their wealth we would be able to colonize the moon and eventually set it up as an old folks home. The zero gravity would do wonders for arthritis.

| Brunt of all Jokes~ | Re: OT: The future is bright! The moon is 1/4 the size of Earth, so the moon's gravity is much less than the earth's gravity, 83.3% (or 5/6) less to be exact. |
