Re: computer problem can you tell me how to fix them before hulk smash

A. I'm with Frankie. But there's something to be said for a nice stiletto heel too, leaves nice, aesthetically pleasing round holes...

B. My father worked for CSC. I STILL have this workbook in my bedroom closet at mom's house, "BASIC for beginners." Didn't learn a d&%$ thing. I used to use Da's punchcards in my bike wheel spokes. And there's a Trash 80 in that house somewhere, complete with cassette tape "floppy drive."

C. I LOVE Macs!!! Too bad they're not more mainstream. I guess that's the point though. Mike can't stand 'em.

I don't LOVE or HATE Macs. My wife has to work with both in her office so I don't have them but I also don't "support" them.

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

I also know what vacuum tubes are.

Someone say vacumn tubes

Only way to run a Class A Amplifier You must have missed my post Al on the vacumn tube CD player I bought but never got, as it was out of stock so to speak. And I was not going to pay $4K for the new model.

I do not know why it is some people get so infected and I don't really. I spend hrs on Warez sits and Newsgroups and have never been infected with a virus. When I got this new Dell the first thing I did was uninstall the Anti-Virus program, as it made my PC run like crap. I do run 3 anti-spyware programs, 2 of them are more or less reg cleaners. I also never buy programs, I steal them so to speak I also have a LS-120 (120mg) floppy disk drive but just gave it away and just a got a flash card

(Yeah, but you're OLD! just not much older than me.)
in that small of print, he'll never see it...so I won't have to worry about starting my car in the morning!

Heh-heh...I still have 2 Iomega Zip Drives...one is 100 MB, the other is 250 MB. Don't use them nearly as often as I used to. The "thumb drives" are just so much faster and hold way more. The closet in my "office" is full of hardware that was cutting edge technology...at the time, now, it's just junk. Must be a couple of thousand $$ sitting there collecting dust; ISA sound cards, 2 MB video card, (2 whole MB! Dude!) Old motherboards, processors that won't power a piss-ant's motorcycle around the inside ring of a cheerio nowadays...and it won't be long before I spend at least $1000 to upgrade my current PC. New motherboard, Quad-Duo processor, new RAM, big "woo-hoo" video card...my wife just shakes her head and yells at me when she sees the bills.

I did miss that post

Some people are lucky but many times it's more about HOW you surf rather than WHERE you surf. Some people can't turn ON a PC without screwing it up. I will admit I have some "non-bought" software as well It's all on HOW you decide what you're getting...
