124 post in 10 days, i think this thread is helping alot of folks. Craig i got your pm, i was getting ready for work earlier and forgot to reply. but i have also heard what you were say about muscle naturally burning fat, so i will start on light core workout.

its hard to tell how much i have cut back on calaries because i dont know how much i was taking in before but it had to be more than i was supposed to or i wouldnt have been gaining weight. i'll have to check what my ideal intake is & go by that.

Put a ban on all fried food in the office (would love to ban soda's but they dont tempt me and I might have a revolt). Have stocked the work fridge with fruit and bagged salad and Trader Joes grilled chicken - and olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Dragged my office manager/paralegal/very good friend to 24 Hour Fitness and signed her up - made a deal with her that if she will go with me twice a week to workout the office will pay for her membership and a trainer. (She has high blood pressure and is an ultra type A personality) I need her healthy!!!

Made new office policy that we leave Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 pm for trainer workouts - no one can complain about traffic, no time, too early etc. And if they want to workout on Mon, Wed, Fri - they can come in to work 30 minutes later - (but hey better be working out!!)

Informed my sweetie that he needs to stop tempting me by bringing me treats when he has one - if he continues I will not buy him any treats! He needs to lose weight too - but he needs to make his own decisions... And when I say "No, Thank you" - I mean - I'd really love a bite of ice cream but if I dont change my habits I will not improve my health!

Training starts tomorrow - my goal- 2ce a week with the trainer and 3 days a week on my own...

You sound like a cool boss. Are you looking for a law librarian? I've worked in a couple of law libraries. lol

If your office staff isn't happy - nobody's happy!!! Nothing can be more miserable than an office full of overweight, lethargic, stressed out people on a sugar high!! I have great office staff - they work hard and need a few perks not and then!

Sorry, no library- it's all online now! But if I have any openings I'll let you know (we do keep a fully stocked closet at the office too!!)
