oo I feel quite proud of myself. On elliptical for 12 minutes, then hit the weights. I don't like that alternating thing, arms one day, legs later, I generally mix it up, do back and forth -- not interval, what's it called? -- 15-20 reps leg... thing, then 15-20 pushing up of the dumbbells, the 15-20 of the leg EXTENSION that's the word, then 15-20 of arms, you get the idea.

After teaching 7 cycling classes in 8 days, I'm taking the night off, well, except abs and stretching before bed. Will be back in the gym to weight lift tomorrow.

Maintaining my clean organic whole foods diet.

Hope ya'll are being consitent in pursuit of your health/fitness goals.

Seriously, I'm not doing badly here... I move slowly. Keeping to organic on soft skinned fruits, found some grass fed beef and have been doing whole foods' half and half beef and chicken (grass and grain), organic on the "trail mix," and no refined carbs.

Bad stuff: occasional sugar. sprite (it was HOT and I needed something), fast food burgers no bun, had a coolatta the other day and it was GOOD.

OK, I did, the rest of you report in people!!!

Ladies & Gentlemen!! May I have your attention please?

I have officially reached my goal weight of 125! That means that I'm 5 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight of 120 AND that means that I've lost 70 pounds in 6 months.

Thanks Craig but I don't know about inspirational. I lost all that weight by sitting on my butt, drinking sodas and eating whatever I want. I can count on one hand the number of times I've exercised. I lost it all by breastfeeding. I've always had a really fast metabolism but I think it virtually stopped when I got preggers...it's just taken a little while for it to speed back up again.

I've been really busy - nothing in particular just not spending much time sitting down!! I refuse to look at the scale. My clothes feel great, I'm getting compliments - but the scale wont budge. Been working out with my trainer 3 times a week, weight training, and the rest of the week i am getting "active" time in.. It's really hot today so not doing anything in particular but trying to stay cool....

I breastfed for a year and nothing...

Well it's been quite hectic and we've had a few breakthroughs of sorts. It's been nonstop whining from both my husband and the kid and I've had it. My husband is a bit of a workaholic and his back has been killing him. He refuses to go to a chiropractor. The one thing that keeps him semi-sane is going surfing on Sunday. His back has been so bad that he can't surf. I started researching and here is breakthrough number 1...and inversion table from craigslist. OMG! He is getting up in the morning with NO pain. I can hardly believe it.
Well, in the mean time, I got tired of hearing all of the complaining in the morning so I've been getting up early...breakthrough number 2. I started Tivo-ing shows from a cable channel called FitTV. I've been just picking a random show in the morning and working out everyday. It's been giving me some time to myself and I get a headstart on the day with feeding the fish and giving all the cats their meds...I just found out my diabetic cat now needs thyroid meds too.
Things have been running a little smoother and I like the change...so far...

Everyday is a new day Jojo! Keep going!

Way to go everyone, doing something for your health on a daily basis creates those better habits we all yearn for.

Another awesome bike ride yesterday along the beach. Grilled salmon, artichoke and salad for dinner. A very nice Sunday indeed!
