OT: New Project(s) Car Buffs

Well it has been awhile since I started a new project(s) like this & I am very exited.

I will start off with this one of my closest friends gave my 14 year old son a 1984 Chevy RS Camaro. It is going to be our project car for him to work on & build over the next 2 years. All of this 84 Project is dependant on his grades B average or now work.

Now for the really cool thing. I aquired a 1965 Mustang Coupe some what started into a street rod car I am goin gto finish it out & make it a street/strip car. My plan is to make it a mach GT 350. Paint scheme is going to be Black stripes on Dark Grey Body simular to the remake of Elenor in gone in 60 Seconds.

Pictures will follow tomorrow evening I didnt take the camera with me today. I will post pictures of both cars as they sit currently and progression of the projects. For some very strong reason I think the Mustang will get more attention.

I may even post a short video after I fully check it out while it is on the dyno to check the numbers etc.

Before I even finished this sentence I was thinking "Elenor", looking forward to the pics and following along with the build.

Oh Jack! that a handfull man, I learned metal work restoring collector cars, no plastic filler allowed (im still safe from radiation after all the lead lol) I spoke with Carol Shelby on several occasions during restorations, great project and nice there is lots of stuff available

Actually I did a 69 RS with a Blown 350 a few years back I will find the pictures of that as well.

I agree I hate filler. I am really loking forward to this challenge. In my spare time ok all the time I can put twards it hell I am even up before 8AM
