| Acropora | OT: Can you test for cats? Mine went fishing. While starting our make over of our tank today, I took the glass tops off of the tank walked out of the room to put them in the tub to clean. I just sat them in there, walked back into the living room, to see my cat launching through the air, landing flat in the middle of the tank. I think he thought the tops were still on.. But so I ran and by the time I got there, he managed to get out. Mind you---this is NOT the first time he has done this. About a year and half ago, he went for a swim also. You'd think he would've learned. Or just wanted a bath... who knows! So here's the soaked Drew! ![]() |

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: OT: Can you test for cats? Mine went fishing. My cat used to love to lay on top of my tank because of the extra warmth...especially when the lights were on. One day, I had the lid open when she jumped up...and right into the tank...she jumped right back out, but was mad at me all day, like I had done something wrong... ![]()

| Plate Coral | Re: OT: Can you test for cats? Mine went fishing. my cat like to just sit and watch for hours, then all of a sudden, a pounce on the side of the tank. I'm trying to get him to stop. Sometimes it keeps the Royal Gramma from eating, and the gramma hides in the bubble coral, so that is being effected as well. At least he's never jumped IN the tank. bill |

| Reef Lobster | Re: OT: Can you test for cats? Mine went fishing. When I still had a freshwater tank my cat nabbed one of my fish...she used to sit on the extra water bucket and I guess she just jumped up there...2 days later she was at the vet with dreaded WORMS. Lesson: keep lid on salt water tank at all times.
