I really couldn't even hazard a guess as to what pregnancy would normally cost. Active duty military do not see bills unless they have to be referred off-post. I had about 3 ultrasounds on Post, a buttload of labwork...If I remember correctly, it was $200 per specialist visit (ultrasounds included) every 2 weeks. It was a hospital that got nuts. Don't remember the actual cost of labor, that was rather standard. It was the MRI, the labwork, the radiologist got paid a few times, the visits from the oncologist and the pediatric surgeon, I think my specialist was paid a cool $10,000 for the delivery, but he wasn't there.... the surgery...the cost of getting the surgeons to even show up to the surgery, the antibiotics, food...for the kid, not me...and a 2 week stay in NICU. Healthy kids are the way to go...and I actually had one. | |

| Manta Ray | Re: OT: Impossible question Yes, Victor...he was called before the delivery and said that the cops pulled him over en route. He showed up half an hour after the fact. Said "Lookin good." Thumbs up and left. Obstetrics are the way to go if you want to get paid. |
