Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Aaaah, I see the disconnect. I don't swim...nor have I sunbathed in years. I live in the desert, I probably have a head start on all of you. So I wouldn't wear swimwear because I am not getting in the water.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

don't have to get wet to wear a swim suit. its just proper attire for a boat.

Yeah...listen the last boat I was on that was more of a swim attire appropriate vessel was back in 1986. Otherwise, mainly bass boats and even that has been awhile. And most of the time, when you are on a boat wearing swimwear and not getting wet, you are at least soaking up the sun, otherwise why would you even give a crap what you wore as long as you weren't wearing jeans and a flannel? I have no need to catch extra rays, our tanning season here lasts from March to November and I can only get so dark.

Pools...sure, motels have pools. Post has a pool, but I don't swim.

Sorry about the confusion!

Congratulations Barb! Our first anniversary is next Sunday. We were married an a Friday too...actually it sounds just like your day. It sprinkled in the morning and started making me nervous because our wedding was supposed to be outside. The rain stopped about an hour before our wedding and, in a place where 100% humidity is pretty common, it wasn't even humid - which was awesome b/c my dress weighed 20 pounds!

Anyway, being married as long as you and John have is pretty uncommon these days (which is actually pretty sad). So...here's to you!

As for the weather...it's hot and humid. But on the positve side, Tommy and I are going on a date tonight!

Thanks, Nikki! 20lbs! That's one heavy dress! My dress cost $125 off the rack and didn't even need altering. Times have changed for weddings. An outdoor wedding.. how nice! If and when Andy gets married I'd like her to get married here at our house. We have a beautiful, large shady side yard that would be perfect for tents. Of course, it's up to her, but I'll mention it if the time comes.

In our group of close friends (8 couples) , only one person has been divorced, and that was before I knew her! She's been married to her current husband 21 years now. I think our group is highly unusual! The longest married couple has been married 32 years this year, and the newest is just hitting 21 years. And, we're not even in a CULT!

You know what?! We haven't had any new pictures of that cute baby of yours in awhile! Do you still have her?!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

thanks, Barb & glampka...she's great. She's rolling over like crazy and she's started "baby" talking. The funniest part is that she thinks old people look funny, so the older the pereson and the more wrinkles they have, the funnier she tthinks they are. The second she looks at them, she laughs.
