Re: OT: How's the weather?

I haven't been outside yet. Need to get out there. But the little one is up and is in a bad mood today. I have been trying to get crap done, but between the kids fighting, the kids being cranky....then I realized that my husband hasn't even packed yet. We are not going to be out of here in time anyway. Might as well kick back for a few minutes and drink my coffee.

Hang in there Becky, maybe tie the little bickerers to a tree outside for a while, eh?

Re: OT: How's the weather?

The one good thing about living in hillbilly hell is that we get awesome vegetables and cuts of meat. I just had a 1" thick 16 oz T-bone for lunch. I guess it helps that the livestock auction is directly behind the butcher...at least you know it's fresh!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Barb and Boomer, sorry to hear about your pains...I really think my dad needs some of those for his back but he's a stubburn guy and won't listen.

Nikki, thanks for the yoga insight. I probably won't get a chance to get to the site till this weekend, but I'll get their and let you know what I think. As far as Olivia and poop I'm cluless but the teething thing...my parents have told me horror stories about when me and my sisiter (mostly my sister) when we went though it. They used to use something that I can't think of the name of right now but it doesen't matter b/c it's banned now. You could always try the ol brandy thing...not too much don't want the lil one getting a hangover.

Craig I don't sweat you LOL..j/k man have fun moderating this thread.

OH yea the weather...crappy out..rain all day and my head hurts as usual. It is however 45 so I can't complain too much.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

It;s perfect weather 82 and no humidity or wind. Golfing at Caemback was a treat. I can brag now but in a month or two it will be well into the 100s-and that's the weather and my golf score.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

diane..I'm thinking of taking up gold this summer and if you have any pointers for a beginner I"m all ears...I know I need to get at least a half way decent set but I'm probably going to go to the second hand store for those. But it's all on hold until THE BEAST is set up.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

The best pointer I can give is to go to your local golf course and check out lessions with their golf pro. Learning from freinds is not the same. When you
first start playing every one is giving your pointers. (more-so for women) but anyway you can find very resaonable golf instructiors that are tops to start your game off on the right foot. Dont get discouraged when you make a bad shot, never throw your clubs, just remember Golf spelled backwards is FLOG. and enjoy the game. PS after reefs its ANOTHER expensive hobby. Most cities have their own small 9-hole courses which is a great place to just go golf. Ive met the nicest people golfing. Sometimes I just schedule tee time and I get paired up with others, it's all cool.enjoy!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

I quit golfing when I couldn't find a course within a two hour drive that was less than $100 per round. It's completely ridiculous around here.

Not to mention, they try to squeeze as many people in as they can so they have tee off times every 7 minutes. It takes 6-8 hours for a round.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

rained here earlier..but now the sun is trying it's harders to peek though and has a couple of times. Comfortable 52. As far as paying an arm and leg to golf it's the same around here T....there's a few golf courses within an hour but its like 100 during the summer to play. No nine hole courses except for a pvt one. Then there's the country clubs that cost like 30k to join...oh well I"ll just have to put some money aside.
