Barb, not certain I'm allowed to take underwear on a marital retreat. Seems counterproductive...maybe I should ask the chaplain.

It actually changed before I started drugging her (that sounds so bad). I think she might be a little constipated along with whatever else is going on. But whatever it is, I hope it's gone soon...I can't handle much more. I think I need to hibernate for a week to catch up on the sleep.

LOL... sure, strap her to the bed! Mine are a series of three as well. I'll bet if she lays flat she'll feel much better.

If you don't already have some, I highly recommend Granny Panties for marital retreats. They can't be beat for comic relief. You pair those with one of those Spanx bras and Ooh MOMMA!

As the baby gets older, the bacteria in the intestines start to grow, which leads to the changes in color and smell over time.

I figured it was always supposed to smell and it would change with the introduction of new foods. When she was pooping meconium, it didn't smell, it was the pee that smelled. I was changing her diaper at a friend's house and commented that I was glad it was just pee and not poop because I wouldn't want to leave something so stinky in her garbage. Just took a few minutes to catch up on this thread a bit.

Barb, I'm jealous of you...I'm getting due for the next batch of epidurals, and it can't come soon enough for me.

My pain management doc loads them up with so much lidocaine (or whatever actual numbing medicine) that when I'm done, I could go walk through the mall, I could go dancing, heck, I could probably go climb Half Dome!

Unfortunately, that really only lasts about 3 days, and I'm back to hurting for a couple of days till the steroid kicks in.

Weather here was sunny and about 80 yesterday. My lilacs are in full bloom, and the scent is everywhere. During their short bloom period, I keep at least one or two sprays of them in the house at all times.
(my wife and I grew up in Spokane--The Lilac City)
We're supposed to have highs in the mid to upper-70's for the next week.
Won't be long before it's 100 here again.
