Marine layer burned off, sat in the sun reading. Took a nap, oh, life is tough!

Becky, glad your husband is still breathing! Weather here was sunny, and I had to work, getting ready to give report.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Cool and gloomy here - had some raindrops, spent most of the AM working on the tank - added some mud to the fuge, cleaned the inside of the acrylic - fun! The scrubber is only about 18" and the tank is 30 which means I have to get on the ladder and almost into the tank to get the tough spots. Had to be done though, the tough little spots were starting to get out of hand and I've barely had time to run the mag-float over the surface.
Decided no work today only tank and house work (how is that no work???) Cleaned up the electrical so I dont have cords all over the place, even put the strips up on the wall so no one will trip and

Will wait for pics of your progress in your thread Steph.

Weather was a little warmer on the coast with no rain.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

actually it was beautiful here today but I spent most of the day napping due to teh fact that I have allot of pills in my system from headaches. Did make it to another open casting call..which could lead to work and that's always good. Becky sorry to hear about yoru nephew but I can't say I'm surprised usualy policy for those places...and also glad that your husband made it back OK...and don't think too bad of talking bad to him..if your in a stong relationship he can take it.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Ah yes, snow is totally gone from the back yard once again. Hopefully by tomorrow it'll be gone from the front yard. In another 6 weeks I might be able to get the new boat in the water provided the ice flows are gone!!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

I still have TONS of snow in my front yard. The sun is lower than the trees out there and I'm sure that's what is helping it hang around so long.

It's so nice here today that I have some windows open.

But I feel like crap, and I'm having an emergency epidural on my back tomorrow afternoon. That should help ease this up. The doc gave me some pain meds this morning so I should be able to get some sleep today, too. I also have a new mattress coming tomorrow and I'm hoping that helps as well. It's one of those memory foam things.. not Tempur-pedic.. it's a Comfor-pedic.. its makeup is a bit different and it felt better when I was laying on it at the store. Something's gotta help, right?

So, it's a mixed forecast. Nice outside, cloudy inside, but with a better outlook for tomorrow.

Becky, glad your husband made it home okay yesterday. How are you feeling today?

Re: OT: How's the weather?

I was trying to sleep on the couch last night. Husband snores, even worse when he is tired. But the humidity was around 6% and it was painful to breathe. I slept on the 4 yr old's floor because he has a humidifier. I'm a little stiff and giving out dirty looks today.

I don't envy you. Had that done twice & after the last one I vowed - NEVER AGAIN. Finally had surgery & I'm as good as new! What's the problem?
