OT: How's the weather? - Page 42

Sunny and warmer, but very windy. Bulbs are coming up! Buds on trees are nice and fat!

Husband woke up sick as a dog. High fever, coughing, congestion. I'm staying away if I can.

I can't imagine it will be any cooler than 80 today. I need to try and get the kids out for awhile. I caught a nasty cold, last night's brandy helped me get to swallowing. Don't expect I will see the husband until 4. He's off doing some 20-30 mile walk in the desert today.

Hope your husband gets better soon! I can't handle it if my husband is sick for more than 48 hours, especially with the little ones. It is hard sometimes for me not to be resentful when I am stuck watching them when I would rather be in bed dying.

The march will have him hobbling around. He was out the door around 3 am. He'll be tired and worn out. He'll come home but I doubt I'll see him moving around until late tonight.

Mucci, nephew stuck in the psych ward until Weds...maybe. He's on new meds and they need to observe him for awhile. They found the usual. He's bipolar, he's ADHD and he is a threat to himself and others. Fun stuff.

I spent a little time outside today watering bushes, pulling weeds...yadda yadda yadda.
Almost felt well enough to start crap. But the little one got up from nap and I am starting to feel run down.

In this house it seems everything must grind to a halt when a husband is sick, etc. A husband must just sit in his chair or lie in his bed and cannot even carry a glass or fetch a pill. He is able, however, to ask for things. Is this usual or is it just here?

It's not the case when a wife is sick, etc. Things still must carry on; animals must still be taken care of, food must be prepared, laundry must be done... sundry little items go on and on no matter how high the fever or painful the back may be. Hmm.

Must'nt think too hard about this. But, one thing must be said:

Dear John!

It's very cloudy and damp here, and very very muddy.

Haven't heard from my husband yet. Heck, for all I know he died out there in the sun...no one from his work has been by. I guess that is a good thing. If not, I am pretty sure his life insurance was up to date. The only thing that would throw me off is that I would be dateless for the funeral on such short notice. lol

The difference between you and me, Becky, is that you say what I mostly only think. LOL Maybe I should be "truer to myself".

I am not feeling very nice today AT ALL.

I do hope your husband is okay, though. Can't be fun marching around the desert all day.

I feel it makes for the best therapy. Of course, now that I think about it, my husband hardly ever talks like that about me. Hmmmmmm....might need to sit down and consider that. Not today, I mean, it is already after 4 here...need to sit here and think about how I do not feel like cooking for the next hour, then I was going to stare into space, maybe do a load of laundry. I'm booked. Try to pencil it in for next week. lol
