Barb, please keep that stuff at your end of the big ice pond!! Hopefully, it'll go south of us.
Did it come your way? Not one thing fell from the sky today.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Finally had gotten rid of all the snow in the back yard. This morning - SURPRISE - a brand new 2 inch layer of the white cr@p covering the ground. At this rate it'll be July before I get the new boat in the water!!

So it DID go your way! Not one thing happened here during the day yesterday but it was very nasty last night. Nothing on the ground this morning, though. Supposed to snow today, though.

I do still have a ton of snow in my front yard.. some 5-6ft piles of it, and the yard itself still has a foot or so left.

Can you put skies on your boat?

If you're supposed to get more that doesn't look good for us!!. You have way more snow than we do.

No where in the catalog did I see skis as optional equipment!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Barb...it isn't just a quote, it is wisdom at its finest! lol One of those lines that helps clinch the Oscar when the main character is battling with some inner turmoil...anyway, I am certain I heard something similar in the Lord of the Rings at some point. And I am just as certain it involved a hobbit crying when he uttered it.

Man, I made sure all of the fleeces I haven't had to wear in a month or so were on hand in the event your weather came my way, Gary. Once I got that done I sat outside in my sleeveless shirt, like I had been doing for the last few days) and got a little sun. Glad it missed me! Sounds like it will be another great day with the kids outside playing in the sand box and water table. Dog napping in the sun and me and my coffee lounging in the back yard taking it all in.

I had to catch my breath, and wipe away a tear after reading that.... a crying hobbit..... LOTR..... and inner turmoil. Thank you. I had sent you karma when I first noticed you had me quoted. I'd send it again now but I probably wouldn't be allowed to double up.

It is now snowing here. The dogs are lined up on the window seat watching it come down. It's their most favorite next to muddy water.

Sounds like a great way to spend the day. My son lives in NC and he has the same weather. He just hates to go to work these days! LOL

I got a good laugh out of getting karma out of it! Seems typical that I would build my reputation this way.

I just wish I could make Gary happy this morning! Instead, I have a feeling I am getting the finger. lol
