Re: OT: How's the weather?

Another Beautiful day here in North East FL, Mid 80's sunny & windy. Expecting some T Storms tonight! Good snoozing weather! However there is a layer of yellow pollen covering everything. Good sneezing weather! LOL

Re: OT: How's the weather?

oh the tank's fine...I just finally lost it with my cat...I did that fake hand slap thing that you do when your kids right in front of her face b/c she was acting like well a complete animal...scratched the crap outta me. AND she pooped and peed on the rug. I'm going to take her to the vet tomorrow to hopefully get some "kitty prozac" I'm convinced she's bipolar like her daddy.

Just another day in paradise! Top down catching rays on my drive home. Nap in the afternoon sun. Home from the gym and time for dinner. More good weather tomorrow!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

My busted-up body has been predicting a change in the weather, and the weatherman finally chimed in and agreed, BUT, now it appears that change has shifted north of us and we're in for some nice warm sunshiney days. Highs over the weekend are predicted to be in the very upper-70's, and 80 wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility...

After living in snow country most of my life, I sure like Kahleeforneeya...

Re: OT: How's the weather?

I'm sorry to hear about the spastic cat, Mucci.

Yesterday was OK. With the weather being nice, I have not been inside doing the cleaning. I think I spent most of my day yesterday on coffee break watching the neighborhood...now that the bushes have been wiped out, I can see things much better.

Need to check in with my family. Midwest got a little too much rain yesterday.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Beautiful sunny 29f with 5" of snow on the ground. If only there were mountains in the not-so-distant view it would be perfect.

Mucci, hope you cleaned those scratches out real well?

Becky, hope the family is okay the flooding looks terrible in the midwest!

BoomerD glad the bad weather passed you by, hope you're feeling better?

My current neighborhood is too quiet. Spend most of my time in my walled in backyard. Last neighborhood, there was always something going on. Everyone was having affairs. Kids having their livelihoods threatened, occasional domestic abuse, moved out right before the drive by shooting. It is all part of the installation. Here, it has been quiet. It is a good thing. Only one stabbing a few months back.

Still sitting around watching the news drinking coffee. Haven't planned my day yet.

Mucci, might want to delay the tank build a little longer and get that cat declawed, at least the front paws. Save some of your skin and keep that cat out of trouble.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

All right here in military housing, Craig. We even have MPs selling drugs. All of these nice sentiments I hear about how thankful people are about the military keeping us safe. I hate to say this, but our soldiers are like everyone else. Many opportunistic bad apples. Right before my husband switched to his current unit there was an issue with soldiers smuggling arms and drugs here on military flights. Several enlisted got in trouble...a couple of officers to a lesser extent. Now when they are in South America, they are not permitted to have any contact with the locals. However, there is still no customs check for the military flights. And our guys might not be permitted to have contact with the locals around the military base, but they catch their plane in the next country over and they have plenty of contact with people there.
