Re: OT: How's the weather?

Well, I finally got back to where it didn't hurt to breathe again after that nasty dust storm we had on Sunday. Now the winds are picking back up and I am back to gagging. I was in a class here once and the teacher was wondering why so many kids have asthma here. Figured it must be an increase in parental smoking. I asked if she realized how much dust blew around here. Can't take me and my attitude problem anywhere. Could be worse, though. Could be Yuma.

I worked at the hospital in Yuma, the town sucks, but they had and awesome Mexican restaraunt; can't remember the name of it (brain fart)

Fart...Mexican Food...at least the owners were not trying to be pretentious with their name! Probably a swell place to munch.

I didn't get out of the car at Yuma. I was on, I believe, I-8 on the way to California. Sand dunes galore and what shrubs I did see in the desert looked burnt.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Today was another beautiful day, didn't get outside much, but it was nice. Yesterday was perfect. Went to the beach for and some wandering around the shops etc... Today was back to work, take one day off and everything piles up.....

got the gardeners out here for one day last week, they promised to be back on Friday to finish - HA - it's Tuesday and haven't seen them. But I know they'll be back, they left some tools, AND I didn't pay them yet!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

There's some sort of elite marine base in Yuma..heard it's hotter than hell...literally, and it's worse than 29 stumps..no thank you...as far as you go steph..good call not paying the landscapers.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Thats gotta be brootal to be living in that area if its so hot.

I may end up working for a friend of mine to help him move 8 tons of rock for his landscape company. He has a few sites that need a lot of work done.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Yes, there is a proving ground in Yuma, I believe. To me, it was equally hot in both places, Mucci.

Anyway, it was supposed to get up to 67 today. Spent most of the time outdoors. Feels pretty hot in the sun. I need to get something done inside at some point.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

When I left for work this morning is was 42 and pouring rain. When I left work around 2 it was still raining but mixed with some snow. Now, at a bit after 7 we have about 5 inches of new snow on the ground.

Yee-haw. Cleveland, Ohio.
