Looked like it would rain all day but just had big clouds in the sky. Not quite at hot as it had been.

I mentioned them only becuase they were awesome big fluffy like in story books, not like usually around here. It is monsoon season however.

After my previous post those big fluffy clouds turned into an unbelieveable
storme. ASU practice dome was torn to shreds and blown down, trees came down all over town. The thunder was rolling and did not stop like the sounds of a freight train. Lightening was a constant flashing in the sky. Hail too. winds were clocked at 70 MPH to 80 Mph in central phx. Tempe was hit pretty hard. Power polls were snapped and power has been out all night for the central section. (Thank goodness our power here is still on and we just have tree debres all over the ground). It will be hot and muggy today 102.

We got the nasties too, Absoultly nasty winds, took out 2 power poles no power for 4 hours last night, with a torrential downpour. sprinkled slightly today.

I miss Monsoons.....allnight lightning and 11 month long bikini watching season. here in jersey,,,,,its i bet shes som'tin' under that parka~

I love the monsoons, cool freaking SUDDEN weather, comes out of nowhere, for a show. Never been one for bikini watchen. You can have that cold weather. Why did you move up there anyway Wit????

Ohh hope all is well, I was back east for the first time in a long time, my dad was from PA. I love the green back there, (I hate cactus), but the humidity is horrid. I'm too whimpy for the winter. native AZian

i have a video of a storm rolling in, bursting wild then the sky coming back blue.....3 hrs long.....its when i had a vhs camcorder....i need to dig that out....but i think the rest of that tape was,,,,um,,,personal
