Re: OT: How's the weather?

The weather will be gloomy for me tomorrow. Im going to a double funeral. two firends, a couple celebrating ther aniversay doing what they like to do best, they take off to Dan Diego to have "their time" together. They were both pronounched dead at the scene following a head-on collission. The other driver hit a side rail loosing control of her car and spun into them. I just cant belive they are both gone. just like that. Their two teens left behind are going to be hard to see tomorrow and more difficult being at their home. If you have close friends spend time, call and go to lunch - give em a hug. Heavy clouds over Chandler.

This is a shame.
It has been a bad week for friends...for a lot of things, actually. I'm waiting for the tearjerking nofication that one of my friend's kid died. He was found with a brain tumor in April. Did his first round of chemo late may, steroid treatments, had chest tubes implanted early June. Between the time with the chemo ending and the implants, the tumor came back, worse than before. The family is in the DC area, trying to get into Johns Hopkins, but also places like St. Judes...and there is some hospital or treatment center they were talking about out in Scottsdale, AZ. Right now, he has double vision, not eating, spasms, headaches. The doctors said that they think his brain is swelling again but chose not to run any tests until mid-August. Makes for frantic parents.

Just a crappy week.

It started raining last night when I went to bed. I don't think it has stopped since.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Ohh that is awful both of you hang in there Diane and Becky. life is short, I have seen a lot, and it never gets better.

I try to live with no regrets with my family and friends. I had 2 brothers and in Aug '07 my brother died and his wife had died the month before (both accidental perscription drug OD). my brothers had not talked in about 15-20 yrs and when I called him about my sister-in-law I asked him to send our bro a condolence card, he said "no, next time I see him will be at his funeral" Well it was, he is still angry with himself.

My heart goes out to all.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

My friends lived their life together as a couple and died that way. They were very blessed. It's sad to hear about a child like beckys little friend. This is a journey were on everyone has a story and their story touches some one else even if they are aunaware of it.
Destiny.

Marine layer burned off around noon. Beautiful sunshine and blue skies with the temp around 80 degrees, perfect!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

It rained this morning and it's 88 right now but with the heat index, it's 98 with 65% humidity. It feels like a sauna out there.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

This is the worst monsoon season I've sat through, so far (hopefully just one more to go). It is hot enough in the desert sun but the 60-70% humidity is ridiculous. Usually we have a stray shower here and there and then it goes back to being arid. Nope. Then we had the bands from Lucy.
