Re: OT: How's the weather?

Been busy catching up on overtime, projects and the sort. Less time available to chat. Always an email/pm away though if too much time goes by. I'll try to get some pics up of the final product.

I have neglected the tank a bit also. I have let about 2 1/2 weeks go by without a water change. I also need a new bulb and am looking to unload a 15lb or so rock with some xenia, red mushroom and a 10" gbta on it. Wish more of you folks lived close by.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Cngratulations Craig on your new tiny grandtwinsd!!!! Hope the surgery goes well he must have gotten the hernia licking his little bro out.

It's hot a hundred and somthing... and we were supposed to get rain, but All we got (so far) was a dust storm. The clouds are up there, and the sunset is going to be glowing red and oragne, starting to look beatiful though.

Craig, I am sure everything will be OK, but I will keep your grandson in my thoughts during this time, and his mom as well. Surgeries can be tough on moms, especially when the kids are just a few days old.

Thanks for calling, I was in the middle of cooking and with 2 hungry kids it was way too much. I'll catch up with you when things quiet down on your end.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Thanks everyone! Surgery set for 3:30 PM PDT Wedneday, July 2, 2008. The Dr. says he is confident the surgery will be uneventful. Baby A is achieving 98% oxygen saturation with just a little air to help with respiration. Hopefully that is a good sign that the left lung is not comprimised.

It was 115 in Death Valley this afternoon , but at 85 MPH with the top down, not bad at all! 85 degrees in the Marina when I got back.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Sorry I missed the party everyone.

Craig CONGRATS...I'm sure you'll make an extraordinary grandpa. I hope the lil ones are OK...I couldn't really make sense of the latest post...something about lungs. I had a similar surgery as the hernia when I was a baby. Be glad you caught it this early.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Congrats Craig!! Hope all goes well with the surgery. Grandkids are GREAT!! And the best things are that you can get back at your kids by spoiling them & you can ALWAY send them home!!!

Sunny, warm & windy today! High in the 80s.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Hey I think I had a Monsoon today. One minute it was nice and sunny the next BAM

Rain was torrential
Hail
Lighting litteral two feet from my window
thunder
and man the wind was awesome. It was really cool to see a storm like that and in about 10 min. it was gone.

yep that's about right. it has dropped about 15 degrees and all be darn it's pouring, not to mention the power went on and off, I kid you not about 7 times in the last hour. Does wonders for the electrical equipment. I'll have to send some Dianzoo's way.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

I talked to Craig a little this afternoon on the phone.
He had that concerned sound over the risks of surgery on a 5 lb kid just a few days old, outside of that it sounds like the family is optimistic. Hopefully we will get to hear something tonight.
No names yet. Just Baby A and Baby B.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

It tried to rain at my house, but it looks like it his the rest of El Paso, instead. Cooled things off though. I am charging up the iPod and getting ready to go on a run.
