Re: OT: How's the weather?

We've lived many places that had summer thunderstorms in our lives. GAWD I miss those!
Here in northern Kahleeforneeya, they're extremely rare. (at least here in the Valley, the mountains get them, where they start forest fires)
We've NEVER lived in "tornado country," but much to my surprise, we do get "mini-tornados" here occasionally.
Not really much more than a large "whirl-wind" they occasionally damage a shed and such. NOTHING compared to the monsters youse folks back East have to contend with.
I think I'd rather have to deal with an occasional earthquake than tornados and hurricanes.

Weather here is sunny and hot, with upper 90's and smoky conditions. The pall of smoke is so bad that I tried to take some pics of my new hibiscuses yesterday, and the white balance just can't account for it. It's not "cloudy", nor it is sunshine, nor any of the factory "lighting" settings, so the pics just don't look quite right.

Hmmmm, Mucci. I doubt I will ever say that I will miss this place after I am gone. And if I do, I am getting evaluated.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

I am sitting around watching it not rain after stripping furniture, making RO, messing with my bushes and clean one of the bathrooms all at the same time.

very warm. The same tomarrow. Ive had a headache all day long and got nothing accomplished. I hate wasteing a perfectly good weekend this way.
The sky to the east still has a smoke haze. I wonder if thats what caused my Ha.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

So far it's a great looking day - nice blue sky, sun shining but they're calling for rain. Need to get the boat out early.

Yeah, and while we are on it:
Where is my picture, Craig?

And to SJS:

Where is my money? Dang it!

I am supposed to hear from NATIVE (our sick reefing brother) tonight. So hopefully I will have details to give.
