OT: How's the weather? - Page 180

Turned to fall overnight! Looking to set a record low high today - only going to hit 60 or so. Storms yesterday - pea to golfball size hail. Tossed a few ice balls afterwards.

Beautiful here, very low humidity, temps in the 60's.... it almost feels like fall.

Diane, my parents snowbird in Mesa in a devlopment called Liesure World off of Power Road. I get there occasionally and have visited with a couple of RS members.

Sickeningly beautiful here today!

I'd like to winter here too and then be someplace like where Gary is in the summer. It was 109 at 4:00 in the morning.The locals call Leisure world- Seizure world, but it is a pretty nice place to be as a snow bird, the folks over there are easy going and freindly. Way better than Apache Junction!
It's hot, hot hot, 113 today. we maybe breaking a records for so many days in the triple digits this early. (I'll really whine when the humidity goes up).

It's been seasonably warm here for the past couple of days. Highs in the mid-upper 90's, and a couple of days at 100-101. Supposed to cool back into the mid-80's by next week. We'll see. I think the weather folks are just messin with me...

Well good to see a fellow Arizonian, Diane. I am not sure what fall or spring for that matter feels like. Although where I am is not QUITE as hot as Phx. Although I was born and raised there, then my parents moved to the absolute pit of hell. Lake Havasu, AZ where the sun always shines and the weather get to a nice 125 degrees almost daily.

Actually I have been there when it was 137. Ahhh those were the days, the lake is like bathwater and the lizards wont come out.

As for me I am in Safford, where it is going to be 104. We get a nice warm breeze almost daily like opening you warm oven.

But it's a dry heat. OK.....
