If they were here today, the prob stopped.. the flooding was gone as fast as it came.

Hmmm, next time I am on I-44 on my way home, maybe I'll skip my usual Bass Pro visit and drop by your house, Jason...to see the tank.

66 but the humidity is terrible...had some thunderbooms earlier today...sorry to all of you who have had flooding. Believe me we get our fare share in the spring time.

VERY WARM here. Hit 100% yesterday, but that was perfect for floating the ice cold river. Now that was a wild ride. Just ask Jack... h got stuck on a major tree in the river. I lost an oar, my sister lost a fishing pole, Jack lost a wheel to his boat. But one heck of a fun ride

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Finally a day without rain. Everyone around here can finally start to clean up all the mess from flooding. Besides no rain......it was only in the 80's today with a breeze! Very nice!!
We drove through Franklin about 6 miles from us and I couldn't believe the mess! Cars overturned in baseball fields, grave markers overturned and so many people have all their belongings out by the streets trying to dry out. I've heard reports that the last time there was a flood like this one in Indiana it was 1913.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

It rained and stormed so hard here today, the power went off in the hospital today, generators came on pretty fast. Lost power at home, but only for a few minutes; I was at work and neither my dh or son would have know how to take care of the tank. Think it is time to invest in an alternate power source for the tank. Temps are cooler, but humidity is still high.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

It was 112 today I golfed in the heat of the day. Can you believe it is now 10:00pm and the temp outside right now is 103. No humidiity, no breeze.

You used to live here briefly? I think we shared discussions about local fish stores.
