93...with the heat index it's 99 and partly cloudy.
I just spent the last 2 and a half hours rinsing out 150# of sand and I got a nice tan on my back...

HOT in the 100s no humidity but tomarrow is the first day of ....monsoon season. (I find that an odd word for desert weather, but then haboob it too).
Having a moon/sun roof cut in my G8. So I'm Driving a rental, a Charger...vrooom Hemi.
Cant wait to get my G8 back, the Charger is ok but no comparrison.

Your monsoon season starts this early? Ours usually kicks in mid-July.

I made it outside twice. I had to take something out to the trash and the landscapers were watching me. Locked myself in house.

The second time, I went out to water the plants in the backyard. The cleaners were doing whatever they do in the neighboring vacant house...they were staring at me too.

(Ican't resist) Isnt it all about underwear.
The date starts tomarrow, but my experience is it gets really bad mid july.
By August everything is burned up, except cactus.

Tornado watch...again.

I-80 just south of here is shut down due to being flooded. Towns south of us are completely evacuated with the town under 6 feet of water. The water is not due to crest until another 6 days.

Those of you who do not know what crest is, crest is when the water stops rising, and hopefully at that point begins to lower.

Stace, I feel for that area. I'm somewhat river folk. I live down by St. Louis. I already know what can happen. I cannot remember so much weather in the midwest...this everyday crap.

Becky it has been NUTS this year!! Different weather everyday, if not a flash flood warning, then it's 95, if it's not either of those, then it's a tornado touching down near by! It's been crazy. But yet, Go figure the second half of the summer is supposed to be the dryest drought in some 70 years. Sounds fun...

The thunder this morning was NUTS! I swore that the house moved an inch with everyone of them. I am sick as can be, and trying to sleep with that crazy thunder..it was a frustrating day.

Stace, this year seems to be weirder than last year all over. NUTS is right. I hope you can get some restful sleep, so you can get better soon. Youll want to be {up} for the good days. Hot toddys work for me.

When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
