Re: OT: How's the weather?

I am sure it is going to be a hot one.
I think my summer vacation plans have been cancelled due to gas prices. Then I heard from a friend whose 11 year old just got out out of surgery from having a tumor removed. The outlook is not good considering the cancer.
I need to get water ready for a change in one of the tanks...and the kids are cranky.

Becky I'm sorry to hear that...hope they make it but I know once they get the tumor it's pretty much inevitable. Nikki thanks for the heads up..kinda makes me want some since I haven't had lobsters in ages.

IMO, crawdads taste nothing like lobster, but when properly done, they're extremely good. I never did get into the whole "head sucking" thing. (dang, that sounds dirty!) But, I've had friends from Loo-see-ana who swear it's the best part of the mudbug.

At home we call crawdads ditch fish. There is no way I am putting that in my mouth.

Crawdads form the clear blue waters of Lake Tahoe are mouth watering. Can you say Crawfish Pie, yummy in the tummy.

That's an understatement. Rained most of the weekend & they're saying there's chance of rain everyday until about Friday.

I had to break down and buy swimwear, speaking of boats. Taking the kids to the water park for military appreciation day this year.
