It's raining (or at least it was) chilly out today about 51...I have the AC on but low and it helps keep the house humidity up there. I slept in an electric blanket last night...brrr

59 here. Stepped out for a stoagie and just couldn't shake the chill.

Becky...some thought on the stoogie comment.

I'm thinking of getting one of those air purifier at sharper image. Since I smoke indoors. You may want to consider doing the same thing only because it's so much more enjoyable when your not dealing with mother nature.

On a completely different side note:

I've decided that I want to continue to smoke. It's not that I don't loce you guys but I don't do drugs, I barely drink, and I don't gamble except maybe once a year..maybe twice if I'm lucky. So I really don't see why I should change who I am when in my heart...I enjoy smoking. Is it bad for me ABSOLUTELY. Will I ever quit..maybe some day. But all my "health" issues I'm sure will be fixed by working out and a proper diet. Yes I'll still probably be winded after 5 minutes on the treadmill..but that's OK...to me there's nothing better than having that first cigarette in the morning....SO I appreciate all the support and all the kind words but in the end I gotta go with my gut. Thanks for understanding.

I DO understand Mooch. I quit in Feb. 2004. It lasted until about July 2005. My wife wasn't too happy when I started again...to say the least. I quit again in March 2006, because my back surgeon said I was gonna need disk replacement surgery, and I had to quit for the surgery. In May, he said things were too bad to fix with surgery, so I started smoking again. (why suffer, right?)

Just do your self a BIG favor...don't smoke in the house or your vehicle. You can always stop someplace and have a smoke if you have to, and you can go outside to smoke. While it's a PITA to do it, your house and car always smell MUCH better.

It's a scorching 104 outside right now...looks like we broke that record. Unofficially anyway. I don't know about the official temp.

That is fine Mooch. Smoke em if you got em. That is not me being supportive, that is me giving up. Never seems to be the fight worth having, except for those who have lost loved ones to heart attacks or emphazema, cancer...can't say much, I enjoy my weekly stoagie. Now that you have it all figured out, I am going to get geared up, get ready to go for a run. The cool temps and overcast make for decent exercise weather...then I will be coming back to my own vice (coffee).

Weather here was cool this morning around 70 my upstairs window was open all night to enjoy the night cool breeze but went to work and left it open and the AC was going all day and it had to be in the high 90s$$$today. My AC bill might just look the the gas costs.

Hot!!! it was into the low 100's today. It's cooling off nicely now, the teen daughter and friends are in the pool, and will probably stay there for awhile!!!

I would have to agree with Becky or her husband (whomever made it a nono) about smoking inside especially with little ones. It aggravates me to see people smoking away and there being a little one strapped into a carseat in the back.

I think it's kinda hot having a girl that is into stogies.

I would probably have one myself more than once a year, but I am around enough smoke. I keep think about the copd/emphysema patient that I had not too long ago looking for their cigs as I am trying to get them out to the ambulance. Then thinking my tax dollars are paying for her to go, but that is another story. Hmmm, new off topic thread for those that have been getting pertubed lately about off-topic threads?
