Yuma has that Nightmare feel to it.

All that would do is feed the addiction...making me want MORE-MORE-MORE!

If this holds I will be out running tonight. Not windy, just breezy.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

It's in the mid-90's here, and there's some cloud cover/haze in the air, which is probably helping keep the temps down a bit, but the humidity is up. (woo...28%!)

Mooch, I may have seen that you were at the Stumps before...never paid attention. No, my beloved Corps can keep the Island for themselves. I did my boot camp at MCRD San Diego...but I did make a visit to the Island just to see their Grinder...and it was in the mid-90's and 100% humidity.

Becky, we made a trip to Denver City one time to look at a construction job we'd been offered. Quickly decided that was no place for sensible people and left...and declined the job offer.

Re: OT: How's the weather?

Becky, I was picturing this desolate looking place with dust devils and tumbleweeds blowing around. Your backyard is beautiful! Look how green your grass is. John will be jealous when I show him the picture; he imagines himself The Lawn Ranger.

It's nice to see where you live!

Re: OT: How's the weather?

It's wierd weather outside. Gray skies, heavy feeling air, barely a wisp of a breeze...almost like what the locals call "Earthquake Weather." If the Bay area has any measurable quake, remember, you heard it here first!)

Earthquake Weather

"Folklore reserves the term "earthquake weather" for the sultry, ominously uneasy period said to precede large earthquakes. Scientists have generally belittled suggestions that weather could have anything to do with the ponderous forces unleashed during a quake. Despite such authoritative pronouncements, many Californians, who have ample experience with seismic events, insist that quakes and weather are somehow connected"

Yep - those scientific types dont know what they're talking about - there is such a thing as earthquake weather - feels like the air is pushing down and it gets really still - kinda freaky (but hey it's California - why wouldnt it be freaky!!)
