OT: How's the weather? - Page 11

It's almond blossom season here in Northern Kahleeforneeya, and the scent is in the air...I live within a mile of several thousand almond trees...

Here's a couple of pics I took 2-3 years ago:

My lilacs are budding and setting blooms already too...
(from last year)

They should be in full bloom in a couple of weeks.

They are saying we have a 10% chance of precipitation here. Whatever. Those clouds coming in are dark and hanging low. The temp dipped about 10 degrees. I made it outside just long enough to spray insecticide on the yard. Goodbye sunshine.

Thanks for the pics BoomerD! Spring will be over here in a month...then straight summer until November. Not too many flowers, outside of poppies, barrel cacti, ...OK that's it.

Camera is a Nikon 5700 with the stock lens. (I think) I MIGHT have used the wide angle adapter for that one...don't remember, but NO macro lens adapter.

Awesome pics BoomerD!

My nap at the beach was perfect, then took a covertible top down drive to (and back from) the gym for a great workout! Another crummy day in sunny So Cal!

It is 42deg now, the sun was out this morning but clouds are starting to roll in, as usual. Sure do miss my home state of AZ

Sunny the past 2 days after the weekend storm that dumped 20+ inches on us. Hopefully it'll warm up in the next couple days to melt this stuff.
