| Madame Klanganator | OT: Trip pictures I took over 100 pictures, so I'm linking you to my Kodak gallery. Hopefully this will work! Click on the link "Start Slideshow". It shouldn't be necessary to sign in. The sequence; Joanetes hotel, Barcelona, Italy hotel, and various shots of Vatican City. I also took some video walking to the Sistine Chapel, but I have to work with it because it's so large. Hopefully, I can get a link to that here shortly. Kodakgallery.com Sign in to Kodakgallery.com

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. |

Rome was filthy, but it was easy most of the time to look past the filth! I would love to visit Germany as well. My grandfather was from there, so I would love to visit the town he was from. You're right, I AM lucky to have visited the places I have. Each time I go I appreciate it more and more.

The town of Olot in Spain has the honor of saying the McDonald's there FAILED because of lack of business... and rightfully so because that sort of food has no place there whatsoever!

| Madame Klanganator | Re: OT: Trip pictures Thanks! and I agree. The "official" photographs are too perfect. I like to see other traveler's photos before I go someplace.. it's much more realistic!

The Pieta is behind glass, which is a shame. The studio we deal with in Italy has made an exact replica of it, with permission from the Vatican. I would have loved to have gotten closer to the real thing.

| Madame Klanganator | Re: OT: Trip pictures You're welcome, Doni! Thanks for looking. The photos really don't do the artwork justice. Being there in person is a totally different experience!
