OT: So this is how exciting our lives are...

We just had to drop the price of a used car on a washer and dryer set because ours died.

Erin was excited to help because the buttons make noise, and her Pooh blanket was one of the first things to get washed.

Re: OT: So this is how exciting our lives are...

Please please don't let this insult you, but that picture brought to mind the movie "Ode to Billy Joe" when the girls family got their first "indoor toilet" and she was so excited she lifted the lid and yelled "hello!" into it to hear it echo. Children can be so excited over simple things, I wish I still did that. Although...maybe I do. Ever look in the fuge and see pods for the first time? Fun stuff!!

he he. She can name most of the fish (what they are, not what she named them!) and alot of the corals! She ALWAYS wants to sit up on the counter to see the 55g, and sometimes tells me when the fish are hungry!

She KNOWS what goes on in there:
YouTube - Ariston Aqualtis

BTW, I'm glad to see you didn't buy one of the new LG machines that uses silver ions as a disinfectant.

"In a reversal from previous rulings, the U.S. EPA has determined that clothes washing machines using silver ion disinfectants need to be registered as a pesticide.

The EPA has not previously regulated nanomaterials such as silver ions, although they are made of a bioaccumulating, persistent, and toxic metal.

However, the EPA's decision has no effect because companies can avoid registering washing machines simply by removing any statements that silver can kill bacteria from their advertising.

The number of consumer products that utilize nanotechnologies has increased by 70 percent since March 2006.

The most common nanomaterial is silver. Widespread use of household products that release silver ions into sewer systems could lead to effects including bioaccumulation in fish and die-offs of aquatic life."

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Really! Now I'm glad too. Had no idea. We WERE actually looking at an LG Tromm but they couldn't deliver it for 3 weeks. Guess fate won out.

Now I have to go investigate the one we got some more.
